Hi,
i am getting a new DX-7 for my coming Logo 500. Now i can decide if i want a AR6200 or a AR7000 with it.
Where is the AR7000 better, except for having a 7th channel, i don't need that anyway because the AR6200 has 2 pins extra for the Battery doesn't it? (that would be the only thing worth using it for)
greetings daniel

If you want to run 2S and be able to switch banks, you will want eight slots. 2 for battery, 1 for aux bank switching, throttle, aileron, elevator, collective, and rudder.
You could do this with the 6200 with a modified wire harness, probably using the gear slot for second power input and Aux signal to Vstabi combined.

Sorry, should have said, no V-Bar...
And i will be having a Align Regulator with a 2s lipo
but without v-bar 6 channels should be fine or?

I run 6200s in my Aligns with BECs, no problem.

Daniel, personally I do not trust the 6200 enough to put it in a heli like the 500 or even a 600. I would use at least a 7000, I run only the 9000rx in my large helis. You will never notice the weight difference from the 6200 to 7000 on 500mm+ blades.
Just my opinion.

I run strictly 9000s in all my 30 size and up helis. A more robust power bus, the dual antenna hookup is also a nice feature, and its weight is very marginal as Matt says. Plus remember that if you upgrade to say the X9303 or the 12XDSM transmitter the 9000 and the 9100 are the only ones that will give you the full 2048 resolution and the latency advantages, :).

Ticidy's probally right on the suggestion to use at least a 7000...
...however, when mine was out for repairs, I used a 6100 in my Xero-G for a while. It held up to everything that I could throw at it...even some out-of-sight tailslide. I would use a 6100 or 6200 again if I had to. But, keep in mind that I have 7000's in both my 50 size machines.

Yeah, i thought bugger it in the end, won't save 15$ and then risk a crash so AR7000 it is for me...
