I have ben working in cad on a new alu elevator arm. Here is a pic of what it will look like. I wanted to get rid of the anti rotation bracket as I'm putting the 400 in a scale fuse. Pleas do not start pming me about where to get them as this is so far just a idea. I dont even know how well it will work. If the first one works I will fallow up on it. I want to Show off the peogress of the scale build.
I'm going to put the x400 into an align md500 fuse and do scale rocket and gun pods. I'm planing on putting a 5 bladed head on (I'm playing with a home built cnc :D ) for the scale look. I decided to use the x400 as no mixing board is needed to put gyros on the cyclic servos.

Raven;
if you intend to make the rockets scale and functional, I just got the right stuff, we used rockets onscale helis back in the 80's as well on planks. Great stuff and real fun.

To win ribbons in funscale events. And the ama kinda looks down on projectiles from aircraft.

Update: I'm still waiting on the frigin fuse to get in stock. I'm on the rc worlds second longest waiting list. The first longest is the Avant aurora. LOL Might change to a agusta 109 with a 4 bladed head. It depends. I now have a x9303 on the way and will put a 9ch rx in to control gain on all 3 gyros. Got a 240 for the tail and going to try telibees for cyclic. Being they will be in rate mode the drift issue wont be there. I'm running a mega sumthin somthin (got the heat sink on so cant see it) at 3000kv with a 11t might go to 10t. You guys vote. Wait for the md500 fuse or go with an agusta.

Update...... Just got the md 500 fuse and its in route. The new cnc will be up and running soon. woot. I will start mech'n my custom parts for this ship then. Now I'm excited. My funscale fleet is growing. My airwolf almost ready for the air and the md500 with x400 mechs is well on its way. :)

So far I don't have the new part in yet. The new cnc will cut the head and other parts. My drafting and cad classes from high school are now paying off.
