The radio comes with a switching harness, do I need to install this in the 7/B slot.... what does it do? and how neccesary is it. It has three connecters one that is part of the wall charger one that is for the Receiver 7/B slot and another for the battery. I am using a TP 3cel 11.1V 2100mah LIPO.
I just finished building my T-REX 450S and I am at the point I need to set up the gyro and servos. I have never done this before and I am just following the instruction book. Anything I should watch out for prior to turning on the transmitter and plugging in the battery??? HELP!!!

watch finless's build and setup vids. and no, you don't need to bother with the switch. i think every futaba comes with one, and it's too cheesey to use as an on/off switch for the main battery, and basically useless on the rx. are you using an external bec? if so, that would have a switch on it.

police,
The switch harness is used on models that have a separate receiver battery (mostly glow models). This way you don't have to unhook the receiver battery every time you need to turn off the receiver, or to charge the battery. You just connect the chatger to the 3rd wire on the switch. The other 2 wires go one to the receiver, one to the battery. Hope it made some sense.

hi
I bought a switch harness for my TREX align 450se v2. I have a slight problem. The switch harness came with the ports, one which i have connected to the receiever, one that is used for charging. The last port is the one that connects to the battery, but how does this connect to the battery because the interface on the switch harness and the battery are completly different. The battery im using is thr standard battery i got with TREX align 450 se v2.
