I would like to know if anyone flys this outside. I heard you can with little wind. Also I have seen people advancing the servos by one hole . How does this effect the heli? Can someone show pictures of how this is done. If you do this then does it want to make the Heli move forward and then you have to make other adjustments some where on the Radio etc.
Thanks

Personaly, I don't recommend flying a CX2 outside. Moving the linkage out (further away from the servo) makes the CX2 more responsive but doesn't make it an outdoor heli.

I flew mine outside last night. It's pretty controllable as long as there is no wind at all. Once there's some wind, then just hope you can keep it from going too far in the direction the wind is blowing. Seriously, a mosquito fart will send this thing flying out of control
I didn't crash it or anything, but the only parameter I had any solid control over was throttle. A good updraft made even that merely tentative control.

hey like any new heli owner i was also chomping at the bit to fly this thing outside instead of a small living room....after numerous inside flights and getting it to hover i felt the need to take this bad boy outside to let it rip...however i have to tell you my experience both attempts put this heli out of control and caused damage....it seems even the slightest wind is more than this little heli can stand..my suggestion is dead calm only......

I dont know guys in the beginning forget about it once lost it over the house, thought I was landing on the roof but when I went up to get it noticed it was in the front yard.
But now I can fly in a MILD breeze, its a little challenging but it can be done just dont go too high.
I just finished fine tunning in the house (way to windy today for outside) on the dx6i did some adjustments with the sub trim, this baby now hovers on a dime with no to little movement. Also mixed some throtle in for right rudder and now I dont sink on a right turn (well not as much) will have to play with that setting some more.
The dx6i is the best thing since slice bread for me. I now have it set for the sim (Reflex), CX2, Honey Bee FP, and of course the B400. Once my flying skills improve I will buy another rcvr for the cp pro.

Oh one more thing, since binding it with the dx6i I noticed it does not yaw as much as the battery dies almost not at all but do notice a tad. Not sure why this is happening, but with the stock tx I yaw'd pretty bad to the left as the battery lowered.

i tried moving linkage out to the last hole...oops i'm the kinda guy who has to try every thing....to sensitive the slightest stick movement makes it very hard to control especially indoors....so i moved mine out one hole only...you have to take off servo horn and kind work the linkage into the hole because the hole are somewhat undersize...just make sure all your trim tabs are in the center position before you center the servo horn back on the servo......
