I'm used to the stock Mx400 paddles that have the set screw to tighten them on the flybar rod.
How do you secure the screwless flybar paddles (Align Carbons)? Are they held on the bar by friction? Thanks.

The flybar usually has a thread on each end for these paddles. I install mine with a small amount of epoxy in the hole then screw them on

Hmm, good idea. I've had problems lately with my gorilla paddles twisting out of alignment during flight.

Ok, my MX400 flybar has no threads on it. Do you think some CA only would do the trick or would you put some threads on there?
This would be just for now until I order some flybars with threads.
Thanks for the tips.

CA doesn't bond very well to metal, certainly not well enough that I'd trust it. Epoxy would be better.

I wouldn't trust *any* adhesives on a non-threaded flybar..

Non-threaded flybar, not around ME.
For the threaded ones, they are fine with friction untilyou have removed them too many times. A drop of medium CA at the paddle to flybar joint will hold them, but be easy to remove when you bend the flybar. Epoxy in the padle hole may make it hard to remove the paddles.
