Hi!
There are two versions, one with and one without bundled Java. No need to install java... it's better to use the bundled version. There are sometimes troubles with classes that can't be found.
About your display problem. Which graphics card do you use? Have you tried another driver revision?
There's a sub-folder called "\files" where you should find a file called "log.txt". Just attach that file, it would help to find the problem!

I cannot seem to get the motor started either.
I have a Spektrum DX6i Tx hooked to my PC. I have installed the Java version.
I have read the read me. Not a whole lot there.
I assigned F1 & F2 (also tried just 1 & 2 for fun) and nothing seems to start when I try to fire up the motor.
Also, once I create my controller option (calibrate joystick) I then save it. When I load the profile, it does not appear that it actually loads for the joystick inputs do not seem to register and the keyboard keys I assisgned are not in the box at right either.
Looks great. Heard a crash once too so I know it has sound. Now if I could just get her up in the air. ;)

Hi Folks just found this sim and anxious to try it but can't get my controller to work. I only have the Esky 0905A USB controller. After problems with laptops I loaded the program on a new PC running Vista Ultimate and everything loaded OK. I assigned a key to idle up 1 and calibrated the controller during which the bar graphs responded.. When activating the idle up 1 key the motor started but no response to any stick movement . In the log file I found the message "stick not found" . Does this mean that I cannot use the Esky controller?
