The Radio is a LP5DSM 5 Channel Transmitter. My question is What is the Dial on the upper Right for that has these signs _- +

that is the fifth chanel and it dosnt do anything. You can drive a servowith it though.

On the new CX2 it comes with a AR6100E receiver and that knob controls channel 5. You could use it to activate a servo, lights, drop mechanism....
