Yup, great models all G3 users should have!
I don't have a 500 yet and was wondering if anyone that does, has this G3 model or could get it, then report back on how close it flys to stock 6s setup? I made the GF version a 5s and lowered the gear train ratio to tame it down a bit to be like J. Krause's setup. These are probably the best electric models on knifedge, and I've gotten a lot. Makes me really want a real 500

I fly a stock 500 with 13T pinion and 2xFP EVO 25 2170mah.

I feel that the Century Swift 550 Carbon flight characteristics are more similar to the TREX 500 than this G3 model.
This model looks great, but it doesn't have that smooth, controlled and locked-in feeling of the 500.
Basically, it's too fast on the collective pitch, elevator and aileron.
It feels more like a 450, with 335mm rotors and full weights on the paddles.

These 500's are pretty nice. If you land real hard or hit the nose the canopy will come off and you can still fly with the battery pack hanging out. I haven't noticed this on other models.

To me they seem quicker (not faster) then some of the other models. A lot more realistic.
