I am new to this and just aquired an HDX 450 SE V3 and would like to know, can I use any t-rex 450 tail and head assemblyon the HDX 450 SE????...

yes you can as well as the gear set

I have both the HDX and and T450 SE, and they share most parts. However the HDX head/main mast is not compatible to the T450SE V2 - there are some parts that can be swapped but spindle, mast etc. can not. So Either you use one head or the other.

Thanks guys, so as long as I use the complete assemblies i will be ok...
Any other tips are welcomed, I am looking forward to great sucess with the help from you guys, I should be flying soon...
