Hi,
I have read a couple of threads about the CX 2 not hovering and I am having a similar problem except mine will only go about 1 1/2 feet off the ground at full throttle. I am also using training gear, but it used to lift off fine. I just got it back from my LHS today assured that it was fine and it's not. I have replaced both motors, the 4 in 1 unit, and put on an alum swash plate and alum lower rotor unit. I have no idea what is going on.
Has anyone had similar problems and how did you fix it?
Thanks,
Mike

Put the stock plastic lower head back on, remove the training gear and get a new battery, the stock battery is only good for 20-30 flights before its toast.

 Really? I've had my cx2 for 4 months I think have 3 stock batts, 1 flight power batt, and 1 dn batt. Since then the DN puffed, all others including the stock batts are going strong. I timed one tonight and will do so in the future now the dx6i makes it easier. but I was 20 secs short of a 10 min flight in the house. Yes batt and extreme 180 motors were warm. And, Yes I fly it as often as I can at least 2 times a day, both out, both in, 1 and 1, depends on the winds.
