Don't know about the GV1 but I Multigov uses Aux2 in combination with the 3 flight modes (normal & idleup 1+2) so that you can set 3 headspeeds (one for each mode!) - set AUX2 to F.MOD in the setup menu.
Then follow the multigov instructions to assign a headspeed for each flightmode.
You can set the throttle to turn off the gov at a certain level such as below 25% throttle = gov off (in normal mode usually)

I don't remember my settings but just go to the multigov website and they tell you how to set up your radio. I programed my Dx7 just like they said and it worked perfect, very simple.

Set the Multigov to below 500 rpm in whichever flight mode that you want it OFF. I'm fine tuning my motor and have been running it off since the maiden. I'm almost to the point where I'm going to turn it on.

Yeah...reviewing the vids a bit more when its not so late and not so tired, I think that is the option for the MultiGov is if I want to Route the wires nice and neet now with that weaved nylon protector stuff which I was concidering, Setting the flight mode speed below 500 and will turn gov off....just wanted to know if there was a way to do both, but with only 1 extra channel left to play with on the AR7000 depends on how you hook up the gov. You can have it work off the flight modes OR a switch (i.e. Aux 2). Its one or the other... as far as I have figured out!
Thanks again for your input!!!
