I got both my dad and a friend excited about RC heli flying, and today we are gonna go flying togheter for the first time. All are using DX7 on Trex450, and I was wondering if it would be possible to hook them up togheter, making it possible for them to try out some hovering and yet giving me master controll so I can take over when things get's out of hand?

I tried this once, but that was as the amateur flying plank, I have noe idea how it was set up, and how the master regained controlled when I lost it.

What kind of cable is needed, how do I set it up, and how does it work? Do I need to do something to my remote to take controll, or will my controll automaticly controll the heli when I move the sticks?

The manual says about 8 lines about trainer, so I would love some feedback on this before we jump of the deep end :)

If you are the qualified or should I say the pilot that can fly, then you have the master transmitter, you plug a lead from yours into a learners transmitter. As long as you have the trainer button pressed then the student/learner has control & as soon as you release the button, you regain control. To sum up, trainer button held in, student has control, trainer button released you have control.

Master Tx has power switch on. The Student is power switch OFF (the Tx will power up when you plug in the trainer cord).

With many Txes you need IDENTICAL setup in both Txes. Others you don't. And with the 9303, you can set to only give certain channels to the Student to control, the others are still controlled by the Master Tx.
