Well I think I broke everything you could break in a crash. I was out doing some figure eights and I banked to the right and for some reason: either pilot error and or heli issue it didnt roll out level. Parts list so far:
1-servo gear
1- feathering spindle
1-main shaft
1-canopy
1-frame(broke the tab for the skids)
1-boom
1-tail rotor output shaft
1-blades
1-tail blades
Crash cost? around $45 bucks

Is the battery ok? I havent tried to recharge it yet? Figured I would take it outside and charge to be safe!

Battery looks ok, I have had a few take some pretty good sized dents and they still fly fine. If the covering is punctured then its toast. Recheck all your servos again, the gearsets are known to be really easy to break, I have even heard of people breaking the gears while they are flying, that may be what happened to you.

Thanks! The blue covering is worn down where it rubbed the motor but it didn't get thru the strapping tape. I will watch the battery the next few charges. I seen someone make a battery holder that prevents the battery from sliding back into the motor. Think I will make something like that to also protect it from the servo arm. I installed new servo gears last night but something is still wrong with the left servo. I would like to think that was the issue and not a pilot error. I know it was banked to the right pretty hard and I tried to roll it level it didnt seem to respond and a second later it drove hard into the ground. I am very surprised on how well this heli flys. So smooth but with lots of control, it didn't seem to be twitchy or unstable.
Thanks everyone for there help!

I had some poor plastic servos in my T-REX 450 when I was a noob and didnt realize , plastic servos can strip in flight , which is exactly what happened to my the irst time I went into idel up . be warned .

You want "noob"? Try forgetting to screw the horn back on a cyclic servo and watch as your new bird gently lifts off, stays stable for a few seconds in hover, and then pitches violently to the side and crashes down when you go to move the right stick.

I'm lucky the training gear saved me there... only lost 1 tail rotor.

I just dinged mine too. I bent the feathering spindle and stripped the gears on the aileron servo. I cracked the canopy too, but since it's not bad, it gets to fly another day.

While I was at it, I upgraded the tail rotor to the DSP75 servo. I can run the gyro in digital mode with this servo and it should have better response. Since I had the time, I centered the servo arms at 0* pitch, leveled the swash plate and zeroed in the blades.

I did have a question about putting the blade grips and the feathering spindle back together. The drawing shows the feathering spindle with the allen bolt and washer on the end, then there is a thrust washer (2 washers around a bearing) on the end of that. Next, there is a 5x8x.1 washer and that goes through the bearings in the blade grip. Then there is a step washer and the O ring.

When I took all that apart on my B400 I had 4 5x8x.1 washers and 4 thrust washers. Putting all the parts back together the head is very stiff, is it possible my head was not assembled correctly at the factory. It's about a 5 minute job to pull the blade grips off again and set it up. I just want it to be right.
