Resizing Gaui 200 ball links

I noticed that the flybar assembly was real stiff on my 200 and I quickly figured out which ball link was tight and causing the binding.

Does anyone have any good methods to loosen a small ball link like this that is too tight? I tried the old heat gun trick and soon melted and ruined the ball end. On the new ones I just used some oil that helped a lot but I would still like it to be slightly looser.

Just squeeze the link while it is installed on the ball with smooth jaw pliers. Gently squeeze around the link and it will loosen up. Better to do it three times to get it right, than once and over do it. :)

you can use the squeeze method, but the easiest method I have found for all size helis is just mount a spare ball to something and put some slices in the ball with a knife. Then put your tight link or and twist it around a few times.
