Hope this isnt a stupid question....

im used to the smaller lipo batterys and have been using the e-flite charger to charge wich charges through the balance leads (wich takes forever to charge)

so i upgraded to the thunder power tp1010 and 210v balancer, tried to dl the finless videos but dial up internet takes to long.......

i hooked up the charger to my power supply no problem:
ran the data cable to the balancer hooked battery to the balancer pushed the start button on balancer (wich verified 6 cells) im trying to charge my tp 22.2v 5000mah pack for my t-rex 600e

when i push charge/ent on the charger itself it tells me output voltage error or wrong polarity.....
i guess this charger dosent charge through the balancer leads??(like the e-flite cx2 charger)
do i have to go and buy seperate output cables and pop on a deans connector ??

so im guessing i have to hook output leads to the battery from charger and hook balancer to balancer leads and data cable to balancer to get a charge??

sorry, but always been a nitro guy so batterys are all new to me

also whats a safe c:x.xxxa to charge a 6 cell 22.2v pack at 5000mah
dont want to fry a $250 battery.....

any help would be great......................

yes you have to plug the battery wires into the charger to charge(use whatever style plug you use on the battery). plug the battery balance plugs into the balancer and the data cable from the balancer to the charger. the charger and balancer will then communicate with each other while the battery is charging.

it is also possible to charge without the balancer but i would recommend using it anyway just for safety.

Yes, you have to plug the battery to both the charger and the balancer. You'll need to charge at 5 amps on this pack. Do yourself and put up with the long download time and get the Finless videos! I'm on dial up as well, so I feel your pain!

thanks for the fast responses, now was the charger supposed to come with the output plugs to hook to the battery, or is this something i buy seperately??

so you just charge at whatever the mah is right??

5000mah=5.0a

1250mah=1.25a

you'll need to buy pigtails to be able to charge. if your batteries have deans connectors on them you can buy these http://www.readyheli.com/Great_Planes_Charge_Lead_Banana_Plugs_Deans_Male_p/gpmm3148.htm or just make them yourself.
