can you put a g26 in a bergan intrpid gasser instead of the g23 will it bolt right in Ron

Short answer, yes, it will bolt right in.
A couple of suggestions though.
If it has the original style of gearbox with the pointy rearend, recommend upgrading to the Magnum style with larger gears.
May want to run slightly bigger blades as well, 720's load the engine nicely.

Vic isn't making 720's any more. Would it be appropriate to run a taller pinion instead?

Nah, the engine RPM's are appx the same, just more power.
710's will work just fine as well. I always say 720 cuz that's what I ran for so long......
Now I'm back to 690's on the Magnum Tazer.....
