cutting wires on a gy401

I am building an sev2 and I only need a couple of inches on the wires for the signal and power. Can I cut them or is that a no no?

Well it probably voids any warrant but it does not effect gyro performance.

You are going to hear comments both ways, but I shorted all my wires on my 450, including the gyro, I just couldn't stand that foot of wire bundled up under my heli any longer.

Did cut them the required lenght here too... had no problem at all and setup look much nicer :)
