Does anyone know where or how to make these? I just got a new TRex 450SE v2 and I was told that was the only thing needed upgrading due to bending. Thanks!

Get a piece of 1/8" CF tube and a package of Trex links. Cut the CF tube to length, epoxy a link rod into each end, and cut off the hook on the bottom of the boom support block.

Align do sell them, 2 in a pack pretty cheap, but heck if I can remember the part number.

Is this a mod worth doing?

Align one is the old pushrod. Uses a Z bend on one end and fairly thin and whippy.

Align one is the old pushrod. Uses a Z bend on one end and fairly thin and whippy. Well, yeah, but I put a link at both ends and opened up the plastic guide on the horizontal stab and it slides nicely and has way less whip and wiggle than the metal rod. Much better let me tell you, but probably not as good as 3mm carbon rod.:-)

NO, still a good bit of flex. Just do the 1/8" (3 - 3.2mm) carbon fiber tube thing. :)

i do the same thing pinecone mentioned, but i use dubro ball link kits and ca glue the threaded parts onto the rod. that way, if for some reason i have no more space to move the tr servo on the boom i can still make adjustments with the threads.
