I have heard that you can disconnect the red + line coming from the Gaui ESC throttle input of the RX in order to disable the BEC. I want use an external Align BEC but when I do that the Gaui ESC wont initialize, no tone nothing. Putting back the red + line works fine. I don't want any contention between the two and I want to use a separate battery for my receiver. Also have noticed that when I have throttle cut enabled before hooking up the ESC battery prevents the ESC from initializing? Would be nice to have throttle cut enabled at power up or is this how its suppose to work?
