Hi there,

I'm proud to annouce that I got my very first .90 class heli and it's a Hirobo Freya Evo. Took me some time to think about what 90 size heli I should get. I was pondering whether I should get a Raptor 90 which is very popular or the slightly pricey JR Vibe. I'm just glad that I ended up buying a Freya. One thing that convince me to get a Freya is Hirobo's years of experience in this hobby and the number of overseas owners, not to mention that I like the way the Freya looks appearance wise. It just looks so SEXY!

Anyways, now that I'm building her up, I was to know where I could buy the metal, low profile landing skids for the Freya, the CNC Yoke and blade grips for the FFZ III Head, and the tail boom support braces? I've been looking thorugh Heliproz, Helihobby, and RC hover and I can't seem to find it.

If anyone can point me to the right hobby shop that sells these, I'd really appreciate it. I'll probably post some pictures of my Freya later on.

Also I might buy another Freya once I get my Tax return. I just love this heli.

Rick's have most of those parts www.ronlund.com
Failing that try Waigo and CyberHeli in Hong Kong

Hiroboworld Thanks for the link too. As a matter of fact I just joined that forum. I'm glad to be a part of the Hirobo family. If I don't see any of the parts I'm looking for, then I'll inquire those parts from Jeff.

Thanks. I'm currently waiting for my OS 91 SZ engine. The whole frame and head is built, but like mentioned I'm waiting for the other "guts" to arrive.

Here's my Freya. Others might have a different opinion, but for me the Hirobo Freya is the most beautifully design RC helicopter. I love it so much more than my Trex 600E and Raptor E620.

Woo-hoo!!! ALRIGHT!!! I've always been wondering what upgrade parts are for the Hirobo Freya. This is really convenient. I got my OS. engine so now I;m just waiting for my Futaba BLS451 servos and GY611 gyro to arrive. Thanks for the link. I'll update my Freya project once I get the other parts.

Kwik, any updates? Have you got her flying yet?
I too have been debating various .90 options but I think your pics have me sold on the Freya. You're right, she's beautiful. Can't wait to hear how she flies!

You said you are waiting for the BLS-451 servos to arrive. This is a high torque servo.
Have you consider the BLS-351
which is a high torque & high speed servo before deciding on the BLS-451.
Also presumably your Evo 90 is a SWM (Hirobo speaking) / eCCPM.
For aliron, elevator & pitch especially in eCCPM, I think torque is a priority over speed.
But then again I maybe wrong. Any comments here?

My swash setup on my Freya Evo 90 is still HPM. The SWM conversion kit is still back ordered. I did consider about the BLS-351, but I am no where near lighting fast 3Ds like the pros does. I just an average flyer who would do sport, liesure flying and some light 3Ds. I just need a servo that will hold up to the weight.

May be once I get to the point of doing a bit of some hard 3Ds that would require speed then I would just buy the BLS-351 later on. For now I don't see myself using utilizing it's full potential.

I am toying with the idea of using the best servo (BLS-351 or 451) & gyro (GY-611 with BLS-251) for my Evo 50 / SWM. I am flying an Evo 50 / HPM with JR servos & GY-401 with S9254.
With the above mentioned servo & gyro on a 50 size heli. I think the holding power & stability would be awesome.

The only thing you will gain is collective power
and you will get that going to SWM even with 3xS9252

The S9351 and S9451 have more accurate centering than the BLSXXX

What exactly is SWM?
Whatever it is, it's pricey. $299 and out of stock everywhere!

It's Hirobo's name for eCCPM - yes it is very pricey
The most expensive part is the metal CCPM Swash
