If I get a gaui 550 or a trex 500 wont I need the 25C? you can run two 3s packs on the gaui for sure but I think you can do it on the Trex too.

I'm not sure of their needs. I was just pointing out that a 2500 18C would fly longer on a MT. You'd have to do the math to figure out what the 500 needs. Two Evo Lite 18C 2500's in parallel though can provide 90A. I don't think you "need" 25C. People just Think the C rating means everything and forget the fact that its multiplied by the Ah rating of the battery to provide the actual constant and burst rates of the battery. If the rates of the battery meets your needs, the higher mah available means you get to fly longer.

For your bigger heli:
2 Evo Lite 18C 2500mAh = 2*(18*2.5)=90A constant draw, 5000mAh available power
2 TP 25C 2100mAh = 2*(25*2.1)=105A constant draw, 4200mAh available power

Now since they have 80-85A ESC's, I don't see how 105A constant draw is better than 90A constant draw. The ESC would burn out if it got either set of batteries to their peak draw rate. The difference? You have close to an Amp more flight time with the 18C batteries. Something to think about.
