The differences are, The SE has metal main blade grips, The Titan has plastic, The items the titan has the SE does not, longer tail boom and push pull pitch. However, any Titan part can be put on the SE and vice versa.

When I built my 50's the titan was not available so it would be hard to answer which one would I buy today if starting over. The SE has all the bells and whistles (bling) and with it having metal blade grips would have a slightly stiffer dampening but probably weighs more. The longer boom just gives you more tail authority and ability to use longer main blades. The SE has plenty of authority. I like the bling so I would probably go with the SE. What will you be hauling it in? I had a Nissan Altima and the SE barely fit in the trunk, providing enough room to move it so the flybar is not hit by the trunk hinge, with a longer boom like the Titan it may not fit.

ok so the basic diff is the main bar and head .. so for beginner if i want to spend a bid more then go SE or go titan for a bit low cost.?can i set up both the same to be good for someone to start with?

The Titan has a longer boom and belt allowing use of 620mm blades. Also, it is a bit lighter than the SE. I would get the Titan and if you want get a metal head. I have two R50s one with a plastic head and one with a Kasama metal head. There is no difference in how the two ships fly however the plastic head needs to be replaced when it gets a little loose on the main shaft. The other metal parts on the SE are of no consequence except for the bling factor. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

They are almost identical heli's so yes you can set either of them up for beginner
