information about scales

Hello,

Forgive me, I am new to RC helicopters. What is the equivalent scale for the following size RC helicopters? 450, 500, 550, 600, .50, .90? Thank you.

Do you mean in relation to full size helicopters? It really depends on what you're modelling. A 450 size helicopter will make approxomately 1/10 Hughes 500, 1/18 Bell 222, 1/20 UH-60 Blackhawk, and 1/35 CH-53 Super Stallion.

Ok so what then would the equivalent or correct ratio for scale Thunder Tiger Hughes 530 on a Raptor Titan or the Thunder Ecuriel body ????

TT MD530 R50 fuslage length: 49"
Real MD530F fuselage length: 24' 7" (295")

295 / 49 = 6.02

Assuming the measurements are accurate, it's pretty close to 1:6 scale.

The Ecureuil works out to 1:7.8, or about 1/8 scale.

thanks , thats what I needed
now out to find 1/8 scale pilots and seats .....open to suggestions out there ????
