Thought I'd post this not to complain but suggestions to improve a great heli.
1. As shown in another post, a CF gyro platform on the nose above the battery tray. Less gyro-ESC interference, can use my flight power EVO's easier better CG.
2.Stronger landing gear. I have aftermarket CF lg coming but CF stock or better material would be nice.
3.Autorotation tail gear.
4. CNC tail boom servo mount. The plastic one doesnt seat right and just seems weak on a critical component.
5. CNC tail pitch control arm.
Again, I love this heli. Just my $.02

I don't know if it is even possible, but it would sure be nice to have allen head screws instead of philips.

Just seen a post in the 550 forum from rediheli that shows a torque tube tail 200. Great, I just bought this one lol.

Haven't seen it yet. I haven't had any issues with the belt so far, but it is great to see more parts and options coming out for this heli (as small as it is!).

Why would you want an driven tail? Its not like you are going to be doing 3 D while autoing with the thing. A 450 is borderline for a driven tail and there are several people who have modded their 450s to eliminate the driven tail for better auto performance.

I guess to eliminate the belt. It doesnt look like you can auto with the torque tube version. Looks like its driven directly off the motor pinion so no power no tail rotor spinning. I could be wrong. Personaly I like the idea of no belt. Less worry of shredding, tension and broken teeth. Never had a torque tube heli so I really cant say. Just thought it was interesting.

shoguns and zoom had the torque tube driven tails and they were very very prone to braking even in flight.
Almost everyone flying the shogun upgraded to a belt drive
That was on a 400 size heli so i am concerned that the small gears in this will make it much weeker than the belt driven tail. I have never shredded a belt but have smashed loads and loads of tail drive gears
hope they make them from somthing strong

Well that sucks. I wonder if the new one will be cheaper? Seems odd they would go to tube tail if its that bad but, I have seen a lot of dumb things rc companies have done.

unless they have improved its reliability
they may have solved this issue i would have hoped!
cheers

Just got the CF landing gear. Seems to have solved the low tail rotor clearance. The tail )on mine at least ) is about 3/4" off the ground. SAY WHEAT ! Got two birds (no pun intended) with one stone. CF gear is of course a lot tougher than the stock plastic gear. It doesnt flex and settle. Looks good too. Lets hope I dont hit hard enough to break this.
Thanks for the post on the CF gear Scarr !

Yes, I did forget to mention it does sit better with the CF gear, and I agree it does look cool..... I am doing just a lot of hovering around inside as Ohio winters and heli flying outside do not get along......

I feel your pain. We got 8" of snow last night in Chicago. Scarr, what was the ship time from Flying-Hobbies where you got ther CNC servo mounts? I almost ordered them but it said three weeks!

It's new year for them there now so that is why it is so long... To what I remember the time was about 7-10 days.
