what voltage to set with the ESC

Hi guyz,

I am using 5245's on the cyclic and 401/9257 on tail. stock motor and esc.

Will it be safe to set the voltage to 6V and use a 5.1 tep down for the tail servo?

Can the 401 handle 6 volts???

Thats a pretty common setup, the 401 will run from 4v to 6v, just put the stepdown between the gyro and the 9257 and you'll be fine!!

With a 9257, use 6v.

Use the step down. Longer servo life. Many, many posts agree. It'll work on 6v, just not so long.
