Hey,

I have the G3.5 RealFlight sim and I would prefer to use my ACTUAL Esky 6-ch Transmitter (0406A) with it instead of the one that came with it. I am using the USB adapter that came with my Esky setup and a program I downloaded called G3 Dongle emulator. My 4-ch Esky (0404) that came with my other heli (Lama V3) has been connected and working fine, but I don't think I am mapping the keys correctly when connecting my 6-ch transmitter. I want to recreate the acutal "feel" of the sim by using my actual controller, but something is not working. I'm sure it is just a matter of mapping the correct keys, but being a "newbie", I'm having a great deal of trouble recognizing the correct axes and setting it up correctly. Has ANYONE out there done this or have any idea how to make it work properly? (Yes, I need my "hand held" through an actual mapping if anyone would be kind enough to help me :) ). I feel really stupid since I got my 4-ch to work fine, but I guess I don't have a proper feel for the way the controls work on my 6-ch. I have yet to fly my Belt CP for the first time (just got it TODAY!!) and I want to practice the controls with the acutal radio before I even plug in the battery for the first time. Can anyone PLEASE help a pathetic newbie!! Thanks :)

why are you using an emulator instead of the cable that came with your realflight

If that is the Esky CCPM heli Tx, you need to unmix the CCPM, and I don't know if you can do that with RF. You can do it with Phoenix.

There is a forum posting here (http://n.ethz.ch/student/mmoeller/fms/forum/viewtopic.php?p=16446&sid=2d982ba5c38e8a1d9c0e13bec3705ed9)that provides some info on the 0406A TX. If you have the DIP switches inside the battery compartment, it might be worth a try.

If you can see the blade pitches change and the head just isn't rotating in the sim, you need to fake out the throttle hold. I used the gyro channel in my dx6i to map to the throttle hold switch in the sim.

what you need to do is move the small Dim switch located behind the 3rd battery from the left as you look at the rear of the transmitter to "ON" thats both switches to on. make sure to put back to default after ok. ;)
