Hi i have a Jr Voyager E and i just ordered parts for the tail and i just finished....When i lift off it drifts to the right....No matter how much i adjust the tail blades it still does the same thing.....I am a beginner so i only know how to Hover but i'm scared to lift it off the ground for fear it may go in a circle and crash.....i thought these Larger Heli's were to support to lift straight up with little interference....i have a gyro240 and a FutabaT6EXHP radio.......My Gyro and belt and blades seem to be ok...Why is it always drifting to right as soon as it lifts the ground.....

Please help!!!

If it drifts right, typically, the swash is not level.

All tail rotor type helis will drift in a hover because the tail rotor is pushing to the side to stop it from spinning around. That has the added unwanted aspect of pushing the heli sideways.

Most RC helis the main rotor spins clockwise when viewed from above. So the tail rotor has to push to the right to stop the fuselage from spinning the other direction due to torque. That causes the heli to drift left.

Now, if your heli has the main rotor spinning the other way, and some do, then a right drift would be correct. You just hold a little side cyclic to stop the drift.

As Pincone was saying toward the end of his post, Does it turn to the right and can you get it to stop by giving it some rudder? Have you been able to fly it at all?

I think we need just a little more information.

your gyro could be reversed!
