Hello Everyone,
Hopefully someone can help me with a problem I am having. I am running a DX7/AR7000 combo with 3 s75 servos in my mx400. I watched the Finless and Jermo video and read numerous posts on setting up my bird and radio. The problem is that my servos are barely moving. The only way to get them to do any significant movement is by increasing the swashmix settings REALLY high and even then they dont seem to move as much as they should(can only get +/- 6 degrees of pitch). I am probably doing something wrong but just cant figure it out.

Thanks to Finless and Jermo and all the other knowledgeable people here, it has made my heli experience enjoyable.

Thanks,
Stan

How far out from the shaft are the balls? On a Trex they should be 13 mm.

Are you refering to the main shaft and the balls on the swash? Mechanically the bird is assembled to the T and all measurements are correct. The servos just dont move very much.

No, the distance from the servo shaft out the arm to the ball. It should be about 13 mm. If the balls are too close in, you get very little motion.

Try turning CCPM off and see how much servo movement you get.

S-75 servos are not very good servos. Lots of slop and the gears have been known to strip by just normal flying.

Thanks for the info, I had the balls off by one hole. I put on some new arms and made sure they were 13mm, much better know. I have it upgraded to ccpm so turning that off wont work to well. The s75's are just temp until my h65 get here, lhs only had the s75's in stock and I wante dot get it in the air. Anyway this is just a practice bird, My Trex500 should be here today!!! Cant Wait!!!!
