Hi,
I've been out of the r/c industry for almost 5 years.
Last I was active was in 2000 before entering college to become an Airframe & Powerplant mechanic, now done with college in Class of 2005.
The weather is finally warming up here (NY) and I took my X-Cell .60 Graphite SE out which hasn't last been flown at least a year ago (once in a while I hover itin the backyard for the fun of it)
However I've cycled the current Rx batteries I have, it's probably end of it's useful life.
I'd like to get a new Rx battery setup. Today I've been searching the r/c industry on the internet and I see this new thing from Duralite which has higher voltage (7.2V) which can be used with a Duralite regulator for better voltage control?
I looked at see a 5.1 and 5.6 regulator, I don't know which one to go with either.
The 4,000 MAH battery has my interest.
Here's my setup:
X-Cell .60 Graphite SE
O.S. .61 SX
Futaba 8UHP transmitter
GV-1 Govenor
CSM 360 Gyro
Servos:
S9202 on collective, elevator and alieron
S9001 on throttle
S9203 on tail rotor (rudder)
I currently have a 4.8V battery right now.
My current flying skills involves alot of flips and mild 3D.
However I may progress to extreme 3D in the future.
What do you think I should do?
