Is anyone running the CX Dampeners in their R50 V2 QUK Headblock? If so did you get the ones for plastic or metal head?
Thanks in advance for the info!!

Will, Get the ones for the metal Head. Poolstick had the metal head, ordered the ones for the plastic head and they didn't fit.

I would give CX an email or a ring, just to be 100% sure. :)

I run the plastic head CX dampeners in the mavrikk head and they work great.

I put the cx in my rappy 50 w/ mavrikk head. FFF caused serious nodding. Can a few tanks though hoping it would subside as indicated by one of the experts.
Well It didn't even after lubing with triflow. I had to go back to the black dampners in my mavrikk head.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yeah, I think that's why Carbonxtreme designed the CX dampers for the metal hub, because of the problems you encountered frankg11. :)

Consider the new Infinaviation Dampners for the R50. They are truly incredible both in a hover and during hard 3D.
These new Dampners are currently available from Dino at www.eastcoastextremehelis.com

I dont think they make them for the Rappy 90 only the sceadu 50 and raptor 90. I have them in my 90 and they are great. As of right now I have red dampers on my 50 with QUK head. I get the nod only at low head speeds. I have it just above 2000 RPM to get rid of the nod. It goes away at lower speeds right around 1780 1800 but it doesn't like much in between. I have some moe experimenting to do to rid the 50 of the nod. I would say the ones for metal head would be the ones to get because stock TT dampers are tight in the QUK head and the CX metal head dampers are a little smaller in diameter.

Glad I did not buy the CX Dampeners for the metal head as the plastic head ones fit the QUK metal head perfectly, I just installed a set. :)
