When I am hovering my CP Pro, it has a pretty good tail drift. Nose turns to the left. I tried increasing the mixing, and the gyro gain a tad. It still does it, not as bad though . Any tips? The mixing is turned up almost all the way

I had the same problem with my cpp. You need to get a heading hold gyro. That is about the only way you are going to be sucessful with the cp pro. The pro is great for the price, but almost unflyable without a HH gyro. Do keep in mind that when you get the gyro buy a spare tail motor while you're at it. Just follow the installation notes in the manual for the gyro and you will be flying rock solid in no time.

increase the mixing more. the tail will not last a long time, that small motor is overworked as it is, some only last 20 flights or so. You can get the gyro to hold pretty well for forward flight and hovering though. A heading hold gyro will help hold the tail, but you will need to upgrade the tail motor first, to a direct drive or brushless setup to realize really good tail holding power.

I would definitely upgrage to a direct drive tail as Carlos said.

My Blade CP I upgraded to dual tail motor....while it's MUCH better, my buddy upgraded his to direct drive tail and I have to say I like his better!

although its way more expensive, brushless tail is the way to go... but like i said, its way more expensive, you'd need a gyro and a brushless main, my buddy has brushless main, brushless tail and that is also w/ 401 on it. flys AMAZING though.

For now, replace the old tail motor with a new one. They always act like that before going clear out.
