Hello.
I am brand new into helicopters (well, after a 25 year absence) and am trying to finish up a 600N build with 8717's, 611, 9303, 9256, etc. but I'm stuck on one thing and I thought I would pose this question to the masses before pinging the grand master (that would be Bob). I followed the build video for the tail setup to the letter so far, same tail servo, same wheel, same hole, same ball. I noticed that, after adjusting the ball link on the end of the long rod, he was able to get the rudder control to move the tail assembly just right, back and forth, with no buzzing (binding) on the servo. I did all that. But, when I move the rudder stick on the transmitter from left to right, I can't even get the stick to move halfway between center and full throw with the tail assembly throwing all the way, and the servo binding. And it's even, both ways. I bound the reciever correctly, created a new model, etc. Any tips on what I might be doing wrong would be greatly appreciated. Is it just a matter of moving the ball further towards the servo spindle to make up for the fact that I'm using a different transmitter? I've seen pictures of helis on here with the exact same setup as mine, so they obviously know something that I don't. What could it be?
Thanks!
