I was told that this setting helps the linear travel of servos because of the arc of a servo horn isn't trully linear. Any of you guys use this? Sounds neat and I want to play with it on the bench but would love some pre-input.

I fly Trex 450.

Thanks in advance!

Turn it on.

If you already have you pitch and cyclic throws set you will have to reset them with higher values.

Ok cool deal that's what I needed to hear. I will check my setup on the bench again including ccpm interactions.

Thanks

I've tested it and IMHO I don't like it. Besides, swash EXP math does not like usage of sub-trims (more then 15-20).

For ECCPM helis (120 degree) turn it on, else you get Aileron->Elevator interaction (barrel-rolls)

Simply put it take into account the circular movement of the servo.

but, yes, EXP=ACT + Much subtrim screws up your pitch curve, fixable with a nonlinear pitchcurve, but still. (bug)

I think I will look at my setup tomorrow when it rains. I don't really have a problem with mine rolling or flipping though. It doesn't just hover hands free inverted though...

"Never argue with an idiot - he'll drag you down to his level and beat you with experience!"

Now that's a funny tag line!

I do like it,and think it should be on by default.

And, a lot of subtrim screws you either way. More than a few clicks of subtrim? Go fix something mechanically...
