Hello

I just want to say that some people are having a problem with the tail linkage on the Stratus. The short link between the servo wheel and the bellcrank gets caught on the canopy when flying fast sideways. The fix is to put the link on the other side of the servo wheel and bellcrank. You just have to watch the nut on the outside of the servo wheel that holds the ball on. Another thing I did was to machine longer rear canopy mounts. The tempest canopy mounts do not seem long enough either.

Hello

I saw Marcus at the Orlando funfly and his canopy was cut out. He also has his linkage flipped to the back of the servo wheel. I thought about cutting the canopy but you have to cut a big section out to make it clear. So I wanted to try someting else. Moving the link to the back of the servo wheel is a good start. I think longer rear canopy mounts will solve the problem without cutting the canopy.
Hey Marcus, How bout a picture of your modifications? Thanks wild man.

We concluded at chattanooga that the linkage could get caught on the canopy. All I did was cut the canopy because it was simple and i had a dremel next to me.... Tim found out that you can flip the ball to the other side of the servo wheel and also the opposite side of the bellcrank than the instructions say. So put the balls on the opposite side so the link is facing the frames . There should be an update on the MA website soon with pictures. Hope this helps.
