HDG 201HB digital servo friedup!!

hi all
last WE i burned down my freshly replaced AC servo ( a micro digital , branded HGD 201HB)

every thing was ok for the first flight, holding tail nicely, on my dragonus,
when i did put the second battery, a burned smell occured, i immediately disconected the battery, and it appeared that the servo electronic was fried!!
i dismanteled it and the incriminated part is an 8 legs component labeled : XOGHP 7507
as i'm not good enough , i need help to know what this part is, does anybody can identify it, please?

It may be either a microcontroller (aka. the brain of the servo) or a FET to drive the motor..
Is there another component like it, possibly with more legs?

thanx jirik, after doing some research it looks more like a fet ( like you said )than anything else, 8 legs
but i'm still not able to find an equivalent to this in an electronic store
is there anybody to tell me the dimensions for a mosfet SO8 type please?
to see if it match with my burned chip
