Fan scar

Hi! i have 2 fans that looks almost the same, where the uniball sits against the fan, i have used a new uniball with one of the fans but it still looks bad after a while.
Any suggestions?

I just looked at one that I've pulled off for an engine bearing change. It looks just like yours. The uniball is still nice and snug, so I'm going to assume the scratches are of no consequence.

Maybe your right but it doesnt look good, a freind of mine also flyes a Stratus and his fan has no scratches att all. :-(
