Should I lean it more? It sounds really good. Throttle response is good. Back of the engine is a little hot to touch. Should it always be just barely warm or is that only for break in?

Actually, I think you want to run it rich to break an engine in. Warm is how the backplate should feel. If you can't touch it, you are way too lean. I would start with being rich and lean it out until you get a good throttle response.

Actually you should keep the engine rich for breakin about (1 and a1/2 turns to 2 turns out from fully screwed in) After 5 tanks you should lean it up. The rule of thumb for engine tuning is you should be able to keep your finger on the backplate for about 5 seconds without it burning you.

exactly, but this doesn't work if where u are flying is very cold... b/c you'll be leaning it to the point that it is WAY to lean and still have low temps on the backplate.
