Does anyone know how the Align 600 fits in the Century 222. How about battery access, etc. Any problems?

This is what I have built so far. I also built the 90 size Thunder Tiger Defender, but it would not fit in my car, so I sold it. I will never sell a helicopter again.

I just ordered the bell 222 I have read about several installations with this kit. it looks like they fit perfectly on the trex600. well nothings perfect....I'm stuck trying to figure out whether I can convert heli and fuse to left side tail rotor like the real Bell222..this will be my first scale heli.

Most of us just allow the rotor to come out the wrong side. The main rotor turns the wrong way also. It is a hassle to have the main rotor turn the other way, but it can be done. You should always have the tail rotor spin upward into the rotor wash if possible. If it were a wheel it would be driving the helicopter backwards. With a torque tube switching to the opposite side will cause the rotor to turn backwards, but with a belt you can twist the belt to have it turn whatever way you want.

One thing to consider is that most kits have the fiberglass molded for the tail rotor to come out one side only and does not look good if forced to come out the wrong ( RIGHT ) side. It will fly fine with either side and will even fly if the rotor is spinning the wrong way as long as the blades are oriented the proper way. I even saw a guy who was flying for a week with one blade on incorrectly (REVERSED ). I do not think you would have much luck flying 3-D with the rotor set up this way.

Nice fleet you have jack :)
I have only just started "scale" with the Align 500E for my trex 450, but hope to convert my Raptor Titan to scale at some point too :)
