The stock motor burned up on my second flight, what is a good motor to buy and from where?
Is there anything else I should upgrade when I purchse the motor?

Some people are using this motor, I think you have to run a different pinion.

I would really recomend getting a brushles replacement. I used the esky one from here http://www.wattsuprc.com.au/product_detail.asp?pid=EK5-0004 for my twister 3d for 200+ flights. Not a hint of a problem. Ran reasonably cool and much lighter.
You will also need a 15A or bigger speed controller to suit.
