OK so I got a chance to test the K&B Dream Design tail blades for the TREX500!
Thanks to K&B Dream Designs for the opportunity... You guys rock.

I run K&B Dream Design tail blades on all my helis now and a TON of local guys I fly with do too.... For the price and how well they fly it's a no brainer for most of us.

Anyway rather than me just flying them and telling you what I think, I am having a few local guys let you know what they think...

So here are some test vids and comments.... Sorry for the dark vids but it was cold, cloudy, and dark... The last flight the sun finally came out.

First up is Kevin (fireup) testing them... but DANG IT... he almost taco'ed my pack ;) Kevin had a little crash so post crash report is also hear...

Next up is Mikey (bullseye1) and his flight ands thoughts.

Finally the sun came out and Kevin gets a reprieve and flys his Trex500 Flybarless with the K&B Dream Design tail blades. No Taco'ed packs this flight :)

Kevin,

Looks like you have the VSTABI dail in well on yur Trex 500. ANything special you did to get the tail solid hold. Or the K&B provide the much better hold then the stock blade?

These new K&B's look HOT!!! They really held solid especially when Mikey came out of his insanely fast piro to instant stop. Kevin's flybarless Trex flew HOT too. Looks like you have it dialed in perfect Kevin!

Thanks for the vids Finless.

Yea that is a screenie of the expert rudder page Bob, the vstabi software is really in depth and limitless to say the least.

On the note of these tail blades. IS there any way you guys could post a picture of them right beside the stock ones? I would like to see the profile difference in size and shape etc please. Thank you.

Shawn realize that Mike could NOT get by with 2500 packs... He is running 25C 3300 packs and 25C 3700 packs because in order to have THAT kind of power it "ain't free".... He likes the weight but I am gonna have to fly his bird as I like "lite" helis... I am sure even with that power his feels heavy at least to me...

I gotta tell ya man... keeping the disc loading light on this heli... you FEEL it... No offense to Mike but I don;t think he is at a level to feel it just yet... But Mike you still do a good job man but you like a TON of power! It's OK... not tryin to slam ya really I am not! THANK YOU! for helping with the blade test :)
