Guys, whats your take on battery safety in regard to once I have charged my batteries - If I had no problems and there is no evidence of swelling (something that I have not encountered, but have read on the forum). My question is - is it safe to store the batteries in my house??

Where are you guys storing your batteries - although, at this point, I have had them in my house for months - thought maybe I should ask the question.

Your response is appreciated,
JH

Storage is best done at 1/2 charge and in a cool place. At rest the batteries are really quite safe, I store mine in my house and have for the two years or so I have had Lipos.

I guess I would be remiss to not add a caveat about using a battery safe...so use one.

At least get a fire safe. I will be doing some testing on them soon.

Hi,

I keep all my packs in the house, have done ever since using lipos. I do charge them in a Sentry fire box and I also use this to take them to the field in.

Simon.
