Problem with Century

I tried to order from Century, but when you hit BUY you are directed to a list of dealers who have next to nothing in stock. How do I get parts? I also tried to order a scale fusulage; they might as well be out of business if you can not buy from them.

Lot of problems like that with heli parts.

What fuselage are you looking for?

That is now set up that way, because Century is the manufacturer and not the retailer. So their own site is set up for information not for sales.

Before, it used to flip you to Heli-World, a retailer they own. When they tried to establish a network of LHS's across the USA to handle their product, many of the top one's told them they were not interested, because the Century site directed anyone visiting it for information, to their own retail store. Our local shop, that stocks two other brands, told me that, when I tried to get him to support us by stocking parts and kits for us. Also, when I asked another big mail order seller that I like ordering from why they did not carry the brand, he also told me the same thing.

So if you want to purchase something, simply go to to one of their retailers...or go to the Heli-World site. Maybe then we will be able to gradually see more LHS and other mail order sellers handling the brand. IMHO, that would be better for all of us Centurians.

I got the same response from my favorite heli parts retailer. Maybe now I will be able to get them to carry Century products :lol:

I just usually pick up the telephone and talk to a sales rep.

Try emailing Ricks. They save you the pain of having to wait for the parts. They have a lot in stock and will give a fair estimate of when they can get you the rest.
