Guys;
I am in the process of settin up my TREX 600E. I am following Bob's videos (without which I am sure I would not be able to do this) and have come to a problem setting up the swashplate movement.
On the video, when Bob moves his pitch up down, all servos move. I have this happening by setting SR-3 as a the swashplate setting on my Tx.
When Bob moves the aileron stick, both the two front servos move... on mine, only the right side (aileron) servo moves.
When Bob moves the elevator, all three servos move (elevator up, pitch and aileron down, and vice versa) - on mine, only the elevator servo moves (the ail & pitch stay stationary).
I have looked in the Tx manual, but I can't figure this out....

So, if I read that correctly, with collective input , ALL the swash servos move, (Do they move the same direction?) but with cyclic input you've only got one servo moving? What about a combo of aileron and elevator?? What moves there? SR-3 is the proper setting so the mixing should be correct.
I think I'd reset that model and start from scratch or use another model location. I had my 9C get "confused" and not change throttle and pitch curves for idleup and throttle hold. Resetting the model and reprogramming it solved the problem. Perhaps that's the case here.
Are your servos/electronics plugged in like so:
Ch1 - Either front servo
Ch2 - Elevator servo
Ch3 - ESC
Ch4 - Gyro
Ch5 - Gyro Signal
Ch6 - Either front servo.
Have you inhibited pitch and hover trim? (Those pesky levers on the sides and the 3 knobs above the power switch) What does the servo monitor show when you twiddle the sticks??

Skiddz;
Thanks for the help, here is more info (from your questions):
ALL the swash servos move, (Do they move the same direction?)
Yes, when I move the throttle, all of the servos move, and in the correct directions.
but with cyclic input you've only got one servo moving?
Correct. When I input aileron, only the aileron servo moves - the others are still.
What about a combo of aileron and elevator?? What moves there?
When I give a combination, then elevator servo and the one (right hand side) aileron servo moves. The other front servo (left side) does not move.

Yes
Have you inhibited pitch and hover trim? (Those pesky levers on the sides and the 3 knobs above the power switch)
No - should I (and how to if I should)
What does the servo monitor show when you twiddle the sticks??
Whats a servo monitor? I have never heard of that.
Thanks so much for your help, I am new at this (especially CCPM) and find it confusing (even with the help of Bob's videos).

The servo monitor is a screen that you can use that gives bar graph read out of what the servos are doing in relation to stick movement.
To inhibit the knobs go to HOV-PIT and HOV-THR and inhibit both then go to HIGH/LOW PIT and set them to Manual and NULL for all flight modes to disabled the sliders.

Hmm... Since all servos move with collective, but nothing works with cyclic, it sounds like something with the mixes is k00ked up.
Do me a favor, switch the servo leads from channel 1 and 6 and try the aileron/elevator bit again. I'm thinking that the right servo will stop working when you do so.
As for disabling the hover & pitch sliders and the knobs, I'll have to grab my Tx when I go home for lunch and punch up the menus to tell you where to go.
EDIT: Page 93 shows how to get to these. Set the mixes to NULL (I think - haven't done a 9C setup in months. ehhe)
The servo monitor is a display in the radio that shows you what each channel is doing as you move the sticks. Poke around in the menus (I think it's called SERVO under the Basic Settings) and you'll see it. It'll be a display of 8 channels channels with "bars" showing servo/channel positions. When ya find it, twiddle the sticks and see if the channel the non-working servo is connected to is showing any movement. This servo doesn't work with aileron left AND right?
EDIT: Page 42 in your manual shows how to get to the SERVO menu
Just for giggles, what are your Swash AFR values?

Kevin;
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
I changed receivers, reset the model, made sure I was on SR-3, disabled the hover pitch sliders and knobs.
.... and it works! :)
Not really surte what the problem was, but as long as it works I am happy.
Thanks again

Cool! Easiest "fix" I've ever assisted with. :)
When do we get pics of the maiden??

Once I get it finished, and can schedule someone a lot better than me to do it :)
