View Full Version : CC60 on a Logo 500, just to get by?
Heya Logo flyers!
I have a Logo 500 arriving Wednesday that has a CC60, and I'm worried about that, and would like to fly this weekend.
Would an Align 75A ESC get me through till I can afford the Kontronik? I can pick up a relatively low use 75A esc for a pretty good price. Or would the CC60 handle the load of just swooping and flipping?

Hmmm.. maybe more info is needed?
Z-Power Z30-1100 brushless motor
Castle Creations Phoenix 60 speed control
Dimension Engineering Sport BEC 5v/6v 3.5amp
3 Futaba s9202 servos on the cyclic
Futaba GY401 gyro with Futaba s9254 servo on the tail
Mikado 500mm carbon fiber main blades
Maxamps 6s 4000mah lipoly battery
Those are the components coming with the bird.
I'm interested in just forward flight and circuits to begin with, stall turns, maybe some flips, but nothing too hard core. Is this setup ok for flight, or will I fry that CC60 the first time I flip into Idle 2?

On my FDR on the L500 with quite hard sport flying I average 28A and peak at 78A - I would think that either the ALign 75A or CC 60 would be OK for you - the CC is a bit more involved to setup but has a nicer spool up.
I've set up a CC25 on a Shogun, this should be the same exact process, correct?
Will throttle curves suit me ok, or would you recommend setting up the governor. I haven't done that, but I understand the process.
I appreciate the input!!

You'll be fine with the CC60. I'm running one in a Logo10 6S setup spinning 2500 headspeed and its OK. Oh BTW I beat the SH&% out of it, and it has never shut down on me. I run throttle curves, no governor.

I didn't like the gov mode much but have had good success with heli fixed endpoints and throttle curves ( a bit of a V does well for the non governed mode q.v.)
