Whats the length and what mods need to be done? I have the knuckles
and bearings/cups for it. Or is ti better to just buy the whole TT?http://www.heli-world.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=HW3063BS&Category_Code=
What is this? Same thing:

Also these?

Is the spindle still the same size but just adding spacers?:

and then you ad these hard dampners?

I don't know what the CN510 is for.
I have heard of people substuting arrow shafts. Maybe someone else knows the correct length. If you find out, post it here, I'd be happy to know myself.

The HW3063TS is only for the new Hawk Pro. It is different from all the other torque tubes because it only has one knuckle. The other end is open. It mates to the tail input shaft with a new kind of set-screw based connector found only on the Hawk Pro. Presumably this design decision was made so that you could reuse your bearing (after a crash) and thus replacement parts would be cheaper.

The HI3181A is the new red dampers.
The HI3180B is just the spacer kit to make the 5mm spindle fit in the 6mm damper. Hawk Sports simply used the same 6mm dampers without any spacer.
The feathering shaft is still the same (5mm). Those spacers in the HW3180C are new to the Hawk Pro. Everything else in the spindle kit is the same as the Hawk Sport.

Some day I need to start a thread about how much fun my Hawk is and how much a PIA my Fury is.

I'm still working the bugs out of my Fury. But the Hawk just flies and flies.

Part of that is certainly the pucker factor. But most of it is setup/maintenance/break-in issues.

LOL nolan...
Yeah...its my new design...HE HE...
No...I had a Boom Strike on an auto at Chati in the tall grass :arggg: and the SS TT was whacked. Im looking for alternatives to the $30 TT and installing the Siff rubbers I just heard about while I was there.

...and yes I still have a Hawk...you would know that if you spent a little less time at HOOOOTTTTEEEERRRRSSSS!

Mark..
On that collar...I pulled up the Pro instructions and compared all the parts. It seems that the only part differences are the TT, That colar and the output input shaft.
I looked on Heliworld and could not find that colars part # so I emailed them. I wonder if it comes with the TT since the colar in the instructions say it includes a male end(page 17)...and the TT under parts # says it includes the male ends "SET"

The part isn't online yet. It's mentioned in the Hawk Pro manual, but the descriptions in the manual lead me to believe that it could be either of two different parts. HW3065 and/or HW3065A.

That's what left me wondering... Which end is the male end?
