Great first day for the SCVHC!!!(yeah we went before, but not all of us were flying so I'm not counting that). We all got some flying time, and a few buzz cuts, lol, sorry guys. Sean seeing you throw that nitro around makes me want to get one so bad! I still wanna get a 500-600 EP but maybe when I'm better I'll go for the nitro. We can go out to the riverbed field first if you guys are up for it, that way Sean can fly the 600n, and if the wind is too much for the 450s we can go out to central park afterwards. What do you guys think? Mike are you gonna post some of those pics from today? I know that last one or two I took were crappy.

Ya, Sean, my car can make it, if I can go to the Mountain Trek with Mr.J, this will be no problem. Uh, What time were you planning being there Mike?
He said he wanted to be there around 8. Dude, I don't think you understand how deep those little dips are. I highly doubt your bimmer will make it through there. We might have to hitch a ride in Mikes Jeep;)

Ok. Thats really cool, I Dropped my battery from my walkera into a bucket off salt water and it looks all cool. Gonna post a video of it.

Yeah 8 sounds great! I am uploading the Trex 450 -6 V2 with Sean flying. It is really far away the camera doesn't zoom. Someone bring a camera tomrrow?

Nice Inverted hover pic! I'll bring my digital cam tomorrow, but it's pretty old. It'd be nice to get some pics of all of us though, SCVHC founding members pic! LoL. Is anyone else going? So far we have Mike, Jason, Sean, Scott and me. Is that right? Sorry if I missed anyone, just add yourself to the list. Plus I only have two camping chairs so if anyone wants to bring some more we can all have a place to sit when we're not flying.

I got a pretty good video camera. Ya, but its good for one video then your done. My camera is AWESOME for pictures. It takes good videos also, and it has a 1gig memory card in it, so it will be good for the whole day.

BTW guys, I just saw myself in the mirror and we definitely need to bring some sunscreen tomorrow. Kinda toasty out there in this 75-80 degree weather.

Man, that shows how old my camera is. Mine only has a 128MB card in it and that was the highest I found them in! It can take video though, but not sound.

Thats because I have the resolution set low. If its too high, I cant convert the file or put it on youtube. I will take a few videos too. But mainly pictures.

Yeah well I have a server that I can upload full quality too. How about you just let me borrow your memory card and I can put all the stuff on the one card. Plus, I can do nice editing.

ok, i got some flying in today :) it was pretty windy so my heli kept getting blown to the other end of the field and i had to keep bringing it back after one or two moves....
i did get some vid though. ;)
i may get some better vids tommorow if the weather is nice.

Hey I noticed something weird with your helicopter. It was flying along fine and then all of the sudden it was upside down.
