Well..... i'm fudging with the electronics on the 600 NP and first mounted the 2 in 1 on the right side (up front) and the 611 Amp. on the right....the length on the glo wire lead seamed JUST long enough on the 2 in 1...

It seems that almost all the setups I'v seen have the AMP mounted on the right. But if I have the 2 in 1 mounted on the left, the glo wire lead is not long enough...

Is there a reason most tend to mount the amp on the right side? maybe rotation and torque of the heli body during a crash reguarding ripp'n off the front?

Is there a benefit to mountiong the AMP on the right side up front!

Any thoughts or suggestions???

OK... the above setup had the battery mounted underneath the front mount....

IF... I mount the 2 in 1 as per Fin's vid and the battery inbetween the servo's within the frame,2 in 1 is appropriate.
(TP 3400 mAh 2S2PR) its kinda thick, it fits but just barely top to bottom between servos.

Now wondering, if I do this how can I keep the battery in the frame "snug"?

I have the 2in1 fitted under the Rx thingy, with the battery on top, GV-1 on the right hand side and the Rx on the left.

If you replace the GV-1 for your AMP then you would just have to mount the Multigov on the frame somewhere.

All my leads work a treat. I have the on/off and glo ignitor placed just in front of the tank on the right hand side.

my 2 in 1 is on the bottom of the radio tray./ 611 amp on the right side, rx batter on the left side. ar7000 rx on top towards the frame, and the multigov unit just infront of the rx (ontop of the radio tray)

It looks like you had a little mishap with your boom and struts.

I found out that the glow wire on the new, improved 2-in-1 will reach the glow plug if the regulator is mounted in the right compartment of the electronics box (as viewed from the rear of the heli) and a notch is cut in the lip of the opening at the rear of the box for the strain relief to slide down into. If you do this, make sure not to butt the 2-in-1 up against the bottom edge of the compartment because you'll need room to run a strap for whatever is on the bottom of the box (the battery, in my case).

I found the glow lead too short too, I mounted the 2 in 1 in the side if the radio tray, the glow lead will just reach I had spent hours working out the best place to mount things, and this is where I put it..

I'm similar. I have the install the same, under the tray and it all fits beautifully. I just have my switch on the front gyro mount plate, and the gyro at the back of the heli. My RX is on top of the tray with the battery too.

I need a better camera to take some lighter pictures...

How about just cutting the glow wire and extend it. Solder it up...a little shrink wrap and problem solved.

Because, you see, that would make too much sense. Besides, why go through the hassle if you can find a good mounting location like aevans692 and I did.
