Teamspeak-voice chat for multiplayer

This can be downloaded for free and it makes the sim just that much more fun. You just need a usb mic. We got about a half dozen people using it so far and man does it make the sim damn near like hanging at the field!

Hey jackson could you provide users who don't know anything about TS more about how to use it and which channel you guys are typically on ?

Once you download and install the software you can click on connect. It will first give you a list of local address's (ones that you have previously saved) but the next tab over has Web Servers. If two people want to fly together one can search for a free puplic server and give the info to others that want to join. We have a server called Delaware Heli TS, whomever is interested in this server info, just PM me and I'll get it to you. Some have passwords, some dont. Just make sure your mic is plugged in before starting teamspeak, fire it up, find a server, and chat away. Now aint that easy !!!:thumbup:

WOW I never knew TS would work on a sim. I used to use it all the time for online gaming. I may have to give it a go.

It works brilliantly!!! So far we got about 7-8 people that showed interest and requested the server info. It really does add that extra bit of realism to the sim. Not to mention something as simple as describing how your doing a particular move, or have you ever tried to read the chat and still fly? Difficult at best!;)

Well we had a 1-2 hour TS/Phoenix funfly tonight. Loads of fun and adding the TS really adds to it. Typing/Reading while flying is tricky. Now if we can just get ppl to stop flying that dang Knight float.

It would be a lot better if we didn't have to hear YOUR voice jackson.... wheres that dang mute button. Jackson and Steeltoes were teasing me !!! Insulting my ultra-low flying and superior flying skill :tongue I think ill pick up a USB headset today. I got the internal mic on my iMAC to work but its not really loud enough to work proper.
