How many NiMh cells for the 2 in 1?

Hi,

I currently use a 2S LiPo for my 2 in 1. However I want to be able to carry a couple of spare NiMh packs in case it gets low. I have liots of NiMh cells lying around so my question is how many cells do I need? 5 to give me 6 Volts or 6 to give me 7.2 Volts?

I would go with the 6 for 7.2
