HBK2 w/training gear floats?

Hi, why does the Honey Bee float with the training gear? Is it basically the same setup like it has pontoons on it?

ps. Just got Phoenix and have played with it for 1 day....absolutely AWESOME. Have AFPD and GF 3.5 and neighor has GF 4....this is by the far the most realistic and the one with the best feel and fit with the graphics....way to go Runtime!

Why wouldnt it float? wouldn't the balls on the end of the gear act as pontoons?

hehe...i was thinking more along the lines of ping pong size balls....surely those won't allow it...it is funny if you get to slide across the water and come sliding up to the shoreline....
